The Evolution of the original Talon is here. Keeping the trademark downturned toe and the look of a boot thats been dipped in rubber this is not a shoe for all-day cragging. The Talon offers a vacuum-tight, slipper-like fit with the benefit of laces for a fine-tuning that changes little over time. Designed for steep climbs at your limit this shoe is all about power.
New on the G2 is the toe box rand layout, fully perforated upper, rigid heel cup, black mesh trim and green TRAX rubber in the arch. Ideal for bouldering, gym, and sport.

It has a TRAX XT-5 4.2mm outsole and a 1.1 mm sensitive, half-length teardrop midsole. The upper has a perforated microfiber lining. Also, like most Evolv shoes, the upper is synthetic and will not stretch with use. The rubberized heel cup is perfect for anyone who loves their heel hooks.
