Mini Works is currently operating with pre-booked time slots with some restrictions and we are not running supervisory inductions, so existing registered customers only.


IMPORTANT CHANGE TO SUPERVISION RATIOS: From 1st October 2018 adult members can supervise a maximum of 1 under 5 guest per adult at weekends & school holidays, adults members are able to supervise up to 2 over 5s at all times and 2 guests including under 5s midweek during term time. What is The Mini-Works?

The Mini Works is an expansion of The Climbing Works, the UK's biggest bouldering centre that opened in 2006. The Mini-Works was built to offer even more climbing space for our members but with a focus towards kids, groups and beginners. The big difference from our main centre is that the Mini-Works allows non-climbing parents / adults to supervise children as they climb. This means parents with children who love to scale everything and anything around the house & garden can now supervise their children as they enjoy a place built for climbing. All the information is outlined below if you are visiting for the first time. You can also take a Google tour of the facility and watch a film below.


No matter if you're coming down for your children, or you're trying out bouldering for the first time, there is something here for them and you to do.

What is Bouldering? 

Bouldering is climbing without ropes and harnesses above a soft-matted area. All are walls meet the European standards with soft matting at the base of the wall. To find out more watch the film below which is a tour of The Climbing Works main facility.
