The Climbing Works are pleased to announce that you can now buy your Annual Membership by monthly instalments online! 

Billing will take place on the 1st of every the month via electronic funds transfer (EFT). The first payment will be prorated and subsequent payments will be made automatically by EFT.

If you are currently paying by standing order you will be asked to change to EFT billing at your renewal date.

Please remember that you are signing up for a minimum of one year. If you cancel before this time a cancellation fee will be incurred.

Results for the Mini Autumn Bouldering Competition (5-14 Years)

Well done to everyone who entered our Autumn Bouldering Competition. With the high level of psych after returning from lockdown we decided to run an extra Mini Works competition this year. See below for results. Spot prize to be announced once we reopen!! 

Super Off-Peak Entry suspension from 10/08/2020

This was intended to help reduce our load at peak times by encouraging customers who were free in the daytime to come in at our quietest times, so with the world working a bit differently to pre-lockdown with more people working from home and on furlough it wasn't quite working as it used to!  We'll look at reintroducing something similar when we are in a position to do so.

New Unit E Opening Hours

Midweek 17:00 to 22:00
Weekends 10:00 to 20:00

We'll be able to offer more details on the why in the next few days.

New registrations

We're happy to welcome new registrations for experienced adult climbers and novices (adult or under 18) who will be supervised by an experienced climber.  We'd temporarily dissuaded this while we got used to the new systems in place.

We can now start implementing Junior Assessments for 14-17 year olds who are experienced climbers. This enables 14-17 year olds to become junior members and climb independently. You will be required to wear a face mask during assessment. 

We are now offering private inductions for people who have little or no experience climbing. For more information please click here

We're still working on systems to safely offer Mini Works Supervisory Inductions.

New Mini Works booking options

We've added new Mini Works booking options online (here) for the following:

• Under 5s supervised by an adult
  • Max 1:1 supervision ratio for U5s
• Adult / 14-17 Year Old Unsupervised Climbers
  • For if you want to sign in to climb at Mini Works yourselves, or with an adult supervising U18s

Coached Sessions

We're starting to re-introduce coached sessions to regular attendees of our 9+ kids clubs and advanced sessions at first so we can ensure we're meeting social distancing and hygiene guidance.  We'll be reintroducing more sessions as we are able to do so in a safe and controlled manner.  If you already attended sessions prior to lock-down then we'll be in touch directly, otherwise please watch out for future announcements.
