If you are looking to compete at the BBC's 2014 you MUST register at the BMC website. The Climbing Works is only the host of the event. The BMC are the organisers and are in charge of all entries. You can view entry requirements and sign up on the BMC website here>>
The Climbing Works has a limited capacity for spectators and as such the BBC's will be an all-ticketed affair. You will not be able to gain access to the seating area without a ticket. The BMC are selling tickets (all proceeds to Climbers Against Cancer) on their website here. You will need a ticket for each day.
You can also watch the BBC's on a big screen at the Cliffhanger event. More details here>>
You will be able to watch the competition via webcast. Keep an eye on the BMC website and our Twitter& Facebook pages for more information closer to the day.
We will try to keep as much of The Climbing Works open as normal over the weekend but certain walls will be closed for the whole weekend.
The Berghaus Competition wall and the walls opposite it will be CLOSED from Friday night and during the weekend.
The Adidas wall, back corner and part of the skips will be closed Saturday & Sunday as this is where isolation will occur for the competitors.
We will close the whole centre for the Final of the competition on the Sunday. Timings TBC but it will likely be from 1430 to 1800. The wall will open as normal from 1800 to 2000 on the Sunday.
The Mini Works will be open as normal all weekend and has all the circuits up to Murple level. So you have problems up to Font 7b+ to try.
Keep an eye on our Twitter & Facebook pages for more information on the BBC's & wall closures closer to the day.
