17 Feb 2011 14:13 Car Parking at The Climbing Works - IMPORTANT!

Since early December there has been a new car parking scheme in place within Centenary Works (the business park where we are located). All the details are on our website and on signs around The Climbing Works.

In summary:
There is a new parking regime for Centenary Business Park, with tickets being issued if you park in certain spaces. If you park in bays 29-42 or bay 55 you will be issued with a ticket – please read the warning signs that are around the car park.

You can view the car parking plan (with the spaces where you should NOT park) on this pdf file

Also do not park on the double yellow lines or in the cross hatched area or you will be ticketed.

Please, please park considerately and do not obstruct marked doorways.  During very busy periods it may be difficult (if not impossible!) to find a space in the car park. However, alternative car parking is available in the following places…

- The car park next to the bridge.

- Robert Sorby Tools opposite Centenary Business Park are happy for our customers to use their main car parking spaces 50yds down Little London Road out of work hours (weekends & weekday evenings) - this does not apply to the small triangular car park (opposite the entrance gates) which is out of bounds at ALL times.

Road-side parking is available on Little London Road and the surrounding area but please be considerate when using this parking.

Thanks. The Cheeses.

17 Feb 2011 11:26 Day 4 Build & New Circuit

Today the team has been joined by Jamie Cassidy (one of the original wall builders) and they're cracking along at quite a pace. You can see some photos from this morning below and see the whole build so far on our Picasa album.

All this building can really mess with your head.

While the comp wall is being build, Sam and the Enigma are setting a new Wasp circuit. This will all be finished today and be similar to grade range to the old one (6b-7a'ish).

Tonight see's the return of the Clinic to The Climbing Works. If you've got any niggles or think you have an injury you can come get a FREE consultation from 7.30pm tonight.
