Busy Week

It's going to be a very busy week in The Climbing Works with the sounds of drills, saws and the coffee maching going full tilt, omni-present over the next 5 days.

Tomorrow (Monday) see's Percy start on his new wall build that he's got planned. It will be towards the comp wall end and should lead to very little disruption. The new feature should be impressive and all be finished by the middle of the week. By then you should also have a fully completed 40 problem new brown circuit to climb on. Half of it was completed by Sam and I on Friday and it's already got a hammering by the customers. So far so good in terms of feedback. The brown circuit sits in the Font 6a-6c range and as we're getting into Autumn and grit / Font bouldering season...it's proper Font grades that you will have to earn : )

After Wednesday, the comp wall be the next thing that on the radar. It will be stripped Thursday and reset Friday for British Bouldering Team training over the Weekend. The wall be open as usual next weekend, giving you a chance to see how Britain's best competition boulderer's train. These problems will also set you in good stead for our own Winter bouldering league which will start in November. Details on the website.

As we're talking (or more preceise, I'm writing) about the Winter league. Check out the video below that should get you psyched for the coming comp season...and waste a few minutes on a Monday morning at work.
