Patxi comes to the Climbing Works!

PUC Training Workshop - 24th - 26th February 2017

We are excited to offer a weekend long PUC Training workshop run by the world famous climber & coach Patxi Usobiaga.  This full weekend packed with useful knowledge and practical sessions that will help you push your training to the next level or if you are a coach yourself it will give you plenty of ideas and knowledge to help optimise your client's training programmes.

 

What is it?

This is a 20 hour weekend split over 3 days, with approximately 3 hours Friday evening then 17 hours split over Saturday & Sunday.

Friday evening comprises an introduction followed by some training theory and concludes with a slideshow.

The rest of the weekend is then a mix of training theory and practical sessions.

 

 

 

Who is Patxi Usobiaga?

Patxi is a world renowned competition climber, sport climber and climbing coach, renowned for his ability to essentially train harder than almost anyone else on the world climbing scene.

Over the years he has won pretty much every international sport climbing competition on the world circuit including World Cups, World Championships and International Masters, culminating in his win of the World Championship in 2009.

On the rock he has climbed multiple 9a routes and was the first climber to onsight 8c+ sport with his ascent of "The Way to Climb" in 2007.

He is now a well renowned coach famous for his work with a number of extremely high profile athletes including Adam Ondra & Chris Sharma.

 

What will it cost?

The total cost for the weekend is £350, which includes use of the centre & free hot drinks over the course of the weekend to keep the mind focused!  We'll also throw in a protein shake on Saturday to try and make sure you're still able to move on Sunday...

This course will be limited to a maximum of 15 spaces to ensure that Patxi can focus on everyone taking part over the course of the workshops.
