Rock Tots Award Nomination
Rock Tots, The Mini-Works toddler climbing group ran by Rachel Briggs has been nominated for a national award. Below is a little info regarding this good news and how you can help Rock Tots on their way to winning this award.
The nominees for the prestigious ‘What's On 4 2015 Junior’ Awards have just been announced and Sheffield-based ‘Rock Tots’ is amongst them.
This exciting awards programme is now in its ninth year and celebrates the best activities, classes, people and places throughout the country, as nominated and voted for by parents, carers and parents-to-be. ‘Rock Tots’, a climbing group for children, is a nominee in the ‘Best local activity for under 5s’ category, which means they will now go through to the final voting stage.
Rock Tots promotes balance, coordination, flexibility and confidence through climbing. The sessions also include games, active singing and play. Rachel Briggs from Rock Tots said: "We’re really proud to have been nominated for this award. Over the past two years Rock Tots has exploded in popularity, with more than fifty little ones now attending our Tuesday and Thursday morning sessions each week."
From 11 March to 1 May 2015, parents can log onto http://www.whatson4littleones.co.uk/awards.asp to vote for their favourites from all of the nominees.
The winners will be announced at the live award ceremony on 19 June at Drayton Manor Hotel, Staffordshire. Everyone who votes or nominates will also be in with a chance to win 2 VIP tickets to the awards ceremony, meet the finalists, sponsors and VIP guests.
