Spectator info & other goings on
as in previous years The Rab CWIF 2017 will be an excellent event to get involved with even if you aren't interested in competing!
Saturday 18th March - Qualification
The main centre is CLOSED ALL DAY to the public. Mini Works Open as usual. These sessions are for competitors only! We have a lot of people competing so anyone else in the building would just hamper their efforts, so no spectators, sorry! If you're in Sheffield for the weekend we recommend that you check out The Outdoor City Weekender, more details of this are below.
Sunday 19th March - Semi Finals & Finals
Semi Finals seating is first come first served!
Finals seating is predominantly first come first served, but we will be offering 50 special VIP seats right in the middle for a £5 donation split between CAC & Sheffield Hospitals Charity! These special tickets went on sale at 12 noon on 3/3/17 on our website, but are now SOLD OUT. You'll need to be here by 5.45pm to be able to claim your VIP seats, we're very busy at CWIF so won't be able to police it after that point!
If you don't manage to get in quick enough to get seats then we will have a big screen & projector in the centre so you can still get a good view of the action & if you can't make it down there will also be a Live Stream!
Sunday 19th Schedule:

11:00 Isolation closes in Climbing Works for Semi Finalists

The Rab cwif Sponsor area & chill out zone
We will have an area outside our normal reception area with stands for many of The Rab CWIF 2017's sponsors.
Here you'll be able to learn about many of the excellent brands who help make the Rab CWIF such an amazing event and you'll even be able to pick up some bargains! This will include 1/2 price Rab deals on clothes including down jackets and their climbing specific Rock Range, and The Mountain Boot Company will be on hand with some great Scarpa deals.
Getting here / Parking
Obviously we're going to be very busy over the CWIF weekend, so there will be limited parking available, some of which belongs to other businesses in here so please respect their signage.
The best scenario is that you walk / cycle / get the bus down! If this isn't possible, then please try to lift share. Remember this will net you a free tea or instant coffee!
There is abundant parking available at the Tescos overflow car park at S7 2QB about 10 mins walk away. If you really need to park closer than this then please be considerate to local residents! Don't park on Athol Road, and if parking on Little London Road then park carefully so you don't obstruct the flow of traffic especially by avoiding parking on the corners outside our car park.
More details about parking can be found here.
