Weekly yoga classes at The Climbing Works
Climber focused yoga for all abilities. A perfect opportunity for anyone with aches and pains from climbing wanting to reset and get stronger physically & mentally. Yoga offers benefits for any climber at any stage of their climbing career.
Classes featured below will be restricted to 8 people to allow hands on adjusting, 1-2-1 feedback, tailored postures to suit each individual’s needs and time for interaction with the teacher. This class is a great opportunity to help your body along and improve your climbing.
Yoga with Lydia: 3 Week Block (11th / 18th / 25th APRIL) & 4 WEEK BLOCK (9th / 16th / 23rd / 30th May)
6.30pm - 7.30pm £18 & £24 per person
'Each of my classes strive to provide the perfect balance of strength, flexibility, breath and alignment. I love to weave elements of anatomy into each class to help educate students about their body and to encourage consistent refinement in the asanas (poses). I recognise the power of hands on assists. I believe a good hands on assist can help you develop muscle memory, body awareness and build confidence in the more challenging asanas. I strongly believe yoga has the power to heal and transform each of us in a positive way, and that everyone can benefit from the practice, so I aim to share yoga from the heart and help each individual find their own journey on the mat.' You can book & pay online by scrolling to the bottom of this page and choosing the options listed. This will confirm your place, booking and payment. We will announce if there are any free spaces on the day on our Twitter page.
Classes will take place in our activity room within the Mini-Works. You will be required to sign-in and out when visiting but you do not have to be a member of The Climbing Works to take part in the Yoga classes.
Yoga mats can be provided but feel free to bring your own & wear some loose clothing.

Refund policy: Full refund if you cancel your place more than 3 hours from the start of the class. After that, no refund will be given as spaces are limited.
