Move More JUNE 2017 Celebrations


Move More is a Sheffield-wide strategy that is being delivered by partners across the city. Move More wants Sheffield to become the most active City in the UK by 2020 and, as a result, see meaningful improvement in the health, wellbeing and quality of life of everybody living in the city.

In the month of June, The Climbing Works is becoming a partner to help get people more active in Sheffield. We are offering 2 options for those getting involved in the event:


1) Those 14+ looking to get climbing!

Never climbed but wanting to try? Interested in finding out why Sheffield is the UK centre for Climbing? Come take part in our Climbing Induction sessions which will allow you to become a member here and give you all the information you need to get climbing. These 1.5hr sessions are designed for complete beginners with one of our fantastic coaches on hand to get you climbing and help you understand how climbing can benefit you in Moving More.

Session: Every Tuesday in June at 7.30pm

Price: £10 - This is a special offer for the June Move More month.

How? Book the Move More Induction online (below), show the Move More app on your phone at the desk when you arrive on your booking date to show your support for Move More (you can find out how to download the app on the Move More month here)


2) Those looking for something for their Under 14 children to do

The Mini Works is a climbing centre designed with children in mind. Within this centre Adults can supervise their U14 children as the children climb. Before all children climb, any new supervising adult must complete a one-off supervisory induction on their first visit. 

One free U14 entry (inc shoe hire) on first visit with an adult doing a Supervisory Induction

The Supervisory Induction costs £10 or £15 when booked for 2 adults.

All you need to do is book the Supervisory Induction online (see below) and show your phone with the Move More App (you can find out how to download the app on the Move More month hereon it when you arrive to receive the free U14 entry.
