Car Parking
The Climbing Works has a large car park which we share with the other companies in Centenary business park. During normal working hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm) the car park is normally very busy and our car parking spaces are limited to 10 spaces outside The Works. However, from 4.30pm every weekday, and all day at weekends we have use of the entire car park for our customers.
Please, please park considerately and do not obstruct marked doorways. During very busy periods it may be difficult (if not impossible!) to find a space in the car park. However, alternative car parking is available in the following places…
Robert Sorby Tools opposite Centenary Business Park are happy for our customers to use their car parking spaces out of work hours (weekends and weekday evenings). Their wheel clamping policy is only enforced when they are open.
Considerate road-side parking is available on Little London Road and the surrounding area.
If you are still struggling, try the Tesco overflow car park just 200 yards further up Abbeydale Road.
Or, the best solution for local climbers – LEAVE THE CAR AT HOME AND WALK,RUN,CYCLE OR GET ONE OF THE HUNDREDS OF BUSES THAT SERVICE THE AREA!
Remember, The Climbing Works operates a green travel policy, and we will give you a free cup of tea or instant coffee if you leave your car at home and come to the wall on public transport on under your own steam!
