Experienced in coaching; those climbing in the 7’s. Sam has coached climbing for the last 15 years through his work in climbing walls and in the industry. He started out managing, instructing and route setting at a climbing wall in Stockport, he then worked as a sales representative for Beyond Hope managing the brand Prana and then set up The Climbing Works.
He just understands climbing and knows the climbing works like the back of his hand. As one of the managing directors of the climbing works and one of the main route setters, if you ever need technical coaching on how to do a particular problem Sam’s your Man! Sam also can give advice on how to improve all areas of your climbing from technique to fitness.
